Compressed air is hot and full of moisture as it leaves the compressor. Van Air aftercoolers rapidly cool this hot compressed air to reduce the moisture load on downstream equipment. This results in the most efficient operation of your compressed air dryer.

Air Cooled Aftercoolers

Van Air AC Series Air Cooled Aftercoolers utilize free and readily available atmospheric air as the cooling medium. Standard models are rated to 3500 SCFM. Hot moist air from the compressor is cooled rapidly to a safe, usable temperature by the Van Air triple-cool process. The AC Series Air-Cooled Aftercoolers utilize atmospheric air as the cooling medium. As the compressed air is cooled a substantial amount of moisture is condensed and collected into the separator installed on the aftercooler outlet. Install indoors or out.
Climate-Cool Aftercoolers

Van Air Climate-Cool® air-cooled aftercoolers use atmospheric air to dissipate heat. No water or electricity is used in cooling and there are no moving parts. Standard aftercooler models are rated up to 4300 SCFM. Van Air Climate-Cool® aftercoolers are designed for outdoor installation and operation.
Water Cooled Aftercoolers

Van Air Hydro-Cool Aftercoolers perform two very important functions that provide the necessary first step in conditioning pneumatic power. The aftercoolers reduce the temperature of the discharge air from the compressor to a safe operating range, and they remove substantial amounts of the entrained moisture. Hydro-Cool heat exchangers are compact and constructed of copper tubes with carbon steel shells.
